New celebrity support has come from Sir Richard Attenborough, who retweeted several tweets and said he thought it was ‘a¬†good cause’.

Peel favourite, David Gedge from The Wedding Present has also tweeted details of the campaign.

The Homes and Communities Agency – who still have the power to back out of the agreement they have with developer Langtree to demolish the Odeon – have refused to respond to the campaign other than to suggest that Langtree be approached.

However, Langtree have failed to respond to any members of the Bradford public or campaigners regarding the Odeon.
