CityOfFilm.co.uk have been in touch with Bradford historian Andrew C. Bolt who has in his possession some original photographs taken during the building of the New Victoria.
I know that these photos are quite rare, they came from the architects assistant Cecil Barber who died a few years ago. They were given to me in a brown envelope marked the new victoria. They are originals printed on photo paper, not sure if a glass negative or not exist but they are very good images.
I defy you to look at these and say “This building has no architectural merit”.
